Utterly peaceful and away from it all, but with loads of activities in the area such as biking, canoeing, fishing, riding, climbing and great children's attractions such as the little steam train in Eskdale that goes to the coast, beaches, the Owl sanctuary, riding, old Eskdale Mill with working machinery, boat trips - and some wonderful walks from the door.
