La Terrazza opens onto a large, open terrace with pretty views of hills - unusual in the historical centre of Spoleto. A glamorous, light and airy apartment with a very large sitting/dining room, this luxury apartment is at the top of an important and significant 14C Roman building, the Rocca dei Perugini, that has been gutted and completely restored. It was originally built as the stronghold of Perugia to watch over the citizens of Spoleto, whom the Perugians had just conquered! The entrance to the apartments is through a wide Roman stone passage with a luxury all glass business centre on the left and in-built small glass alcoves displaying small luxury items on the right. A few metres along this passage is a lift and stairs, which take you up through the centre of the building. Centrally located on the main pedestrian street that leads to the top of Spoleto, passing a myriad of shops, restaurants, bars, museums and churches, including the famous Torre Del'Olio just 30 seconds walk from the apartment. Staying here you will experience luxury interlaced with antiquity.

Car-hire is not necessary - La Terrazza is sufficiently close to the main-line station - about a 5 minute walk - from where you can get to just about anywhere in Italy.There is a local car-hire office within walking distance of you wanted to hire for the occasional day.By prior arrangment, my husband, Laurie, will pick up those of you who wish to remain car-free directly from Spoleto station and take you to the apartment. Also, on the day of your departure, he will deliver you back to the station.
