The Fuerte Surfhouse is ideal for families, groups of friends and in particular is a great base for windsurfers, surfers and kite-surfers. The house is large and airy with lots of open spaces for people to relax, chillout or sunbathe. Situated in the new Parque Natural residential development right on the edge of the beautiful sand-dunes the house has nices views directly down towards flagbeach and across to the mountains of Lanzarote or the dramatic island of Los Lobos.
The villa comprises two bedrooms on the ground floor with shared bathroom. There is a new high quality kitchen. Upstairs there is a master double bedroom and second bathroom. All bathrooms have full bath and shower, WC and bidet. They are decorated in modern mosaic tiles.
The main focal point inside the house is the large open plan living area/dining room with lovely wooden staircase leading up to the large roof terraces.

Surrounding Area: The villa has a large 36m2 roof terrace and is equipped with modern sun loungers and a large expandable outdoor table which can easily sit 8-10 people, ideal for BBQ's and a bit of al-fresco eating. The roof terrace area has fantastic views down towards the beaches and across to los Lobos and Lanzarote, catches the sun all day and on the right side to be sheltered from the prevailing trade winds. For convenience for windsurfers, surfers, kitesurfers or for groups with bikes etc there is a purpose built and lockable storage area. There is also a tap and hose pipe at the side of the house for washing sandy kit down. Out the back of the house is again a large sheltered suntrap/terrace surrounded by bamboo fencing. This area is great for kit storage, eating outside, sunbathing or just relaxing with a beer after a day at the beach or on the water.

Fuerteventura is the least developed island out of the Canary Islands with miles of white sand and un-crowded beaches. It is situated on the same latitude as the Bahamas, Mexico, South Morrocco and is only about 100 km away from the African continent. Although Fuerteventura became shallow through erosion, it offers a variety of interesting aspects: wide plains, gentle hills, rugged rocks, jagged cliffs, black streams of lava, caves of volcanic origin and some of the most beautiful beaches found in Europe. A great base for windsurfers, kitesurfers and surfers the island can always offer some watersports action and tends to either have wind, waves and quite often both. Some of the famous spots worth checking include flagbeach just down the road from the house, glass beach, El Colltio and the northshore. For families there is a variety of places to visit around the island and Corralejo has loads of activities including a fantastic main area with shops, bars and restuarants as well as the lovely beaches and harbour.

Booking Notes:
?200 deposit is due immediately to secure your booking followed by the balance 4 weeks prior to arrival at the house. Booked weeks can be moved/exchanged upto 4 weeks prior to arriving at the property.

Changeover Day:
Usually Wednesday but bespoke trips can be arranged according to your flights. The keys are generally collected from our agents anytime after 4.00pm on your day of arrival. The villa is cleaned at the end of your stay ready for the next guests. Linen and a limited supply of towels are provided.
