The cottage is a 400 year old converted farmhouse, surrounded by sunny gardens, parking space for 2 cars in front of the house which is situated in a quiet crescent - 3 miles from the sandy beaches of Rock and Daymer Bay, the surfing beach at Polzeath and close to the ancient fishing harbour of Padstow. The cottage is ideally situated for surfing, safe bathing, fishing, sailing, cliff walking, golf, cycling (The Camel Trail starts in Wadebridge with cycle hire available). Wadebridge, the old market town with its medieval bridge’ offers excellent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, a cinema and a library (all 1 mile from the cottage). Wadebridge Leisure Centre was built twelve years ago and is five minutes walking distance from the cottage. It has a very fine indoor swimming pool and separate baby pool as well as squash and badminton courts. Accommodation: downstairs lounge with woodburner built into the fireplace; exposed beams; two seater settee and three seater sofabed; colour TV. This room leads into Kitchen/Diner: a very cosy room with E and W facing windows; ceramic top cooker, microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster. Beamed ceiling. Stable door leading to External utility room (3 steps up into a rockery garden) with second toilet, washing machine, tumble drier, large fridge freezer. Upstairs: Bedroom 1 double aspect windows, king size bed, built in wardrobe, washbasin, two chests of drawersr. Bedroom 2 Twin beds, built in wardrobern. Bedroom 3 full size bunkbed with bed beneath. Bathroom: white bathroom suite with power shower into bath, shaving point, toilet, immersion heater. Outside: Cornish Cottage is surrounded by well established walled gardens, with lawns front and rear, sunny, south facing patio, garden table and chairs. The house is set in a very friendly Cornish neighbourhood. We supply T-towels, pillows, 2 kingsize duvets, 6 single duvets, plenty of blankets. Availability All year round Booking:Saturday to Saturday (arrival no earlier than 3pm - departure no later than 11am, unless otherwise arranged).
